Post-Surgical Accelerated Tissue Repair Therapy
Advanced high Intensity therapy for rapid results.
Benefits of Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy
PEMF Therapy uses electromagnetic fields to positively influence cell function and communication.
The benefits include enhanced cellular repair mechanisms, reduces swelling, improves nutrient delivery, and promotes a balanced healing environment.

Benefits:
-
Accelerated Healing: Speeds up all phases of wound healing, from inflammation control to tissue remodeling.
-
Pain & Inflammation Reduction: Natural pain relief and significant decrease in post-op swelling.
-
Improved Tissue Quality: Better collagen formation, leading to stronger, more flexible tissue and less scarring.
-
Faster Return to Function: Quicker recovery of mobility and strength, allowing earlier physical therapy.
-
Non-Invasive & Safe: Drug-free and completely painless.
How It Works
A therapist applies the PEMF device 15 minutes over the surgical site while you fully clothed. Only metal that is magnetic ( ie, belt buckle) and any electronics ( ie, phone, watch) must be removed.

Frequency: Typically 8-10 sessions are recommended depending on your individual case as prescribed by Dr. Callard.
Outcome: Patients often see faster incision closure, reduced hematomas, and improved skin elasticity.

Benefits of Class 4 Laser Treatments (Photobiomodulaton Therapy)
Class 4 laser therapy (also known as high-power laser therapy or photobiomodulation) is a non-invasive treatment used to accelerate healing and manage pain after surgical procedures. By delivering high-intensity light energy deep into tissues, it triggers biological responses that significantly shorten recovery times.

Class 4 lasers work at the cellular level through several key mechanisms:
-
Stimulates ATP Production: Laser light targets the mitochondria, increasing the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP). This "cellular fuel" enables damaged cells to repair and regenerate more rapidly.
-
Reduces Inflammation and Swelling: The therapy modulates inflammatory pathways, decreasing pro-inflammatory cytokines while enhancing anti-inflammatory responses. This leads to a faster reduction in post-operative swelling.
-
Enhances Blood Circulation: It promotes vasodilation, widening blood vessels to deliver more oxygen and essential nutrients to the surgical site while flushing out metabolic waste.
-
Promotes Collagen Synthesis: By stimulating fibroblast activity, it accelerates the formation of collagen, which is critical for wound closure and strengthening repaired tissues like tendons and ligaments.
-
Minimizes Scar Tissue: Enhanced tissue repair processes help ensure that new tissue forms in an organized manner, reducing the development of restrictive scar tissue and improve scar esthetic appearance.

Benefits:
-
Rapid Pain Relief: Patients often experience immediate relief as the laser blocks pain signals to the brain and triggers the release of natural endorphins.
-
Faster Return to Activity: By reducing pain and stiffness, patients can often begin physical therapy sooner, improving overall rehabilitation outcomes.
-
Non-Invasive and Drug-Free: It offers an alternative to heavy reliance on painkillers (opioids or NSAIDs) during the recovery phase.
How It Works
Our Class 4 lasers produce a soothing, gentle warmth during the session which are are generally brief, lasting between 5 to 10 minutes.
Frequency: Post-surgical Therapy may require an initial series of 6 to 12 sessions, often spaced 3-5 times per week, depending on the severity of the surgery.
Safety: The treatment is FDA-cleared and safe for use over metal implants or hardware, which is common in orthopedic surgeries.

Accelerate Your Body's Natural Healing
In the US Americans undergo shoulder surgery 200K - 500k per year. Knee surgery 720K-1.3M and back surgery an estimated
1.5M - 1.6M per year according the Institute of Health. All of these surgeries take between 6 and 12 months or more to fully regain normal function. That does not have to be the case using Post-Surgical Accelerated Treatment utilized by Dr. Callard.

The list of cases where people have found benefits is very long. This therapy helps the regeneration of tissues in case of fractures and sprains and promotes blood circulation.
FAQs
Are there any side effects?
Through more than twenty years of use by healthcare providers all over the world, very few side effects have been reported. Occasionally, some old injuries or pain syndromes may feel aggravated for a few days as the healing response is more active after treatment.
How long does each treatment take?
The typical treatment is 5 to 10 minutes depending on the size of the area being treated.
How often do I need to be treated?
Acute conditions may be treated daily, particularly if they are accompanied by significant pain. More chronic problems respond better when treatments are received 2 - 3 times a week, tapering to once a week or once every other week, with improvement.
How many treatments does it take?
This depends on the nature of the condition being treated. For some acute conditions, 1 to 6 treatments may be sufficient. Those of a more chronic nature may require 10 to 15 (or more) treatments. Conditions such as severe arthritis may require ongoing periodic care to control pain.
How long before I feel results?
You may feel improvement in your condition (usually pain reduction) after the very first treatment. Sometimes you will not feel improvement for a number of treatments. This does not mean that the condition is not improving. Each treatment is cumulative and results are often felt after 3 or 4 sessions.
Can it be used in conjunction with other treatments?
Yes! Laser Therapy is often used with other forms of treatment, including physical therapy, chiropractic adjustments, massage, soft tissue mobilization, electrotherapy and even following surgery. Other healing modalities are complementary and can be used with laser to increase the effectiveness of the treatment.
